Its main theme is a contest between students of the different learning stages; primary, preparatory, and secondary stage in the field of script designing.
 The contest will be held on 12th of March for the primary, 13th of March for the preparatory and 14th of March for the secondary stage at the Conference Center - Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
 The 3rd competition is accompanied by an exhibition of the winners and the distinguished works in the field of Arabic Calligraphy. The exhibition lasts till 29 March 2012.
