The lecture aims to introduce the concept of mother tongue, and the impact of the Arabic language as a mother tongue in the Middle Ages in the science, that spoke at that era  Arabic with some examples of a number of scientists who enriched in various humanities. The lecture aims to introduce the diverse uses of Arabic calligraphy and diverse arts on several different models of manuscripts, astrolabe, antiques, metal, glass and other examples. It is followed by a  workshop for Arabic calligraphy from which to identify certain types of Arabic scripts and models of different Islamic motifs.
