The Ancient Egyptian Language Unit is organizing special courses for teaching Hieroglyphic. These courses include training for tourist guides. After passing the course, the tourist guide can define the most important texts on the walls of temples and tombs, as well as reading the names of kings and individuals, and reading texts written on paintings, statues and coffins.
The course will start at 10 March 2010 to 22 April 2010, Wednesday and Thursday, 2:4 pm.

• Fees: EGP 200, (EGP 150 for members of the BA friends association and BA staff).
• Training: Courses include field visits for training and practical practice (The Museum of BA, The Alexandria National Museum).
