In the framework of the cooperation between Bibliotheca Alexandrina represented in Calligraphy Center with the directorate of the education and tutoring in Alexandria governorate represented in the general guidance of social education, a competition was held entitled  “The Arabic Calligraphy for the students of Alexandrian school” which was participated by 114 students. The competition was divided into three phases, and contributed by students of the three learning stages; primary, preparatory, and secondary. It is noteworthy that the winning masterwork will take part in an exhibition will assess by Calligraphy Center in the same day of awards celebration’s distribution, this celebration will be held on Thursday 23 Dec 2 010 at 10:00 am in the small theatre at conference center - Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
