The Calligraphy Center, is organizing hieroglyphic and Arabic calligraphy workshops for children and young people during the Summer vacation 2011. The hieroglyphic  workshop is designed to encourage learning about the ancient Egyptian language and civilization, in order to promote the archeological awareness among children and young people. While the Arabic calligraphy workshop is designed to learn about the components and the aesthetics of the Arabic calligraphy art and designs.

• A closing ceremony and an exhibition of the children handcrafts will be held at the end of the course.

• The course includes 3 field trips inside and outside the Library.

• The hieroglyphic workshop is starting on 12 June 2011, and will be held every Sunday and Wednesday. While the Arabic Calligraphy is starting 13 June 2011, and will be held every Monday and Thursday.

• Fees: 50 L.E for each workshop. Reservation starts on 25 May till 9 June 2011.
