Under the supervision of the Advisors for Special Projects Office at the Library of Alexandria, the LYM youth paid a field visit to Al-Omayyed Nature Reserve on February the 5th, 2009. Seventy youth from different educational backgrounds participated in the event that started at 10.15 am and lasted for about 8 hours.
The youth, accompanied by Mr. Ahmed Gad, an environmental researcher, visited the northern and the southern parts of the nature reserve. They got introduced to different organisms kept in the place and during the tour, Mr. Gad answered different questions raised by different participants.
