In 1988-1989 we
have investigated 1602 people in Oktiabrskii district of Novosibirsk City. The crude
prevalence of DM among men and women 25-64 years old was 2,7%, IGT 7,9%. Prevalence of
diabetes and IGT rose with the age. Women had higher rates for prevalence of DM and IGT compare to men. |
