Hafedh started volunteering at the age of 15 in a table tennis association in Tunisia. His immersion into humanitarian field took place at the age of 20 when he started volunteering with the Tunisian Red Crescent. At first, he started working on HIV/AIDS and advocated for the creation of a youth department in the NGO. He made out one of the most active youth friendly spaces in Tunisia from 2005 till now. He worked on the implementation of many youth projects at the national level, and was charged with many missions dealing with youth advocacy, volunteer management, health programs, and first aid. He got a trainer of trainers of first aid in 2007. He was one of the winners of Youth for Change mini-grants for his project "Young Leaders for Positive Change". He also received a scholarship from the program to attend the World Youth Congress in Istanbul 2010.
