In this phase, 26 youth from Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Mauritania, Morocco, and Saudi Arabia were awarded mini grants between $1000 - $3000 USD to pilot projects related to ICT. Through the Sprout Ideas project management e-course, online chats with entrepreneurs, and opportunities to discuss their projects in open forum settings, the 26 winners have emerged from the Program with projects that were initially simple ideas. Winners were also together in Alexandria, Egypt for a capacity-building session in the Spring of 2016 and for a Closing Ceremony in December of 2016.
