Abstract:
In February 2007, Wilka Kennedid and Muhamud Belian went on a fact finding mission to the capital of Somalia, Mogadishu, at the request of IKV Pax Christi. IKV Pax Christi engaged them to investigate answers as to the fundamental question what to do as a national Dutch peace organisation: to keep out as so far, or to get involved and engaged as in other parts of the Horn (namely Ethiopia, Eritrea and Sudan)? This report summarizes their findings.
