Abstract:
In Zanzibar, anonymized mobile phone records to characterize human movements were combined with spatial data on malaria endemicity to identify patterns of parasite carrier movements and rates of malaria importation. Results feed into the malaria elimination feasibility assessment for Zanzibar.
