Abstract:
Multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) is a global public healthconcern, and Myanmar also has important long-term MDR-TB problems. It is stillfeaturing on "30 high MDR-TB burden" countries list with a higher occurrence rate (5.1%in new TB and 27% in previously treated TB cases) than the global average.
