Abstract:
Sierra Leone responded to the COVID-19 pandemic with strict lockdown measures. The Lion Heart Medical Centre, a rural second line health facility, implemented a COVID-19 strategy to respond to the outbreak and continue regular services. This thesis aims to evaluate utilization rates of hospital services related to maternal health, child health, HIV and/or TB and non-communicable diseases and additionally health-seeking behaviour during an outbreak.
