Abstract:
Oral diseases severely impact the performance and quality of life of all age groups. The cost of treatment is high, and oral care services are not accessible to large parts of the population in EMR. However, those diseases are preventable with good oral hygiene, a healthy diet, and lifestyle. Programs to enhance such preventive measures start in childhood and schools can provide the appropriate environment to conduct such programs.
