Abstract:
Younger women of 15-24 years, those with higher parity, low educational levels, and low-income level are more likely to use the informal private sector. Barriers to using public health facilitiesinclude lack of drugs, negative attitudes and lack of health workers, high cost, and transportation problems. Furthermore, women in rural areas suffer higher costs when receiving maternal health services.
