“She excels in science: Afro-women rule!” is a programme, co-organized by the Women’s Studies and Social Transformation (WSST) Program and Bibliotheca Alexandrina Information for Africa (BAIFA), to promote African women’s role in science. Within this programme, we aim to increase the visibility of African women’s activities and involvement in the scientific field, influence African women to pursue more roles and work in science, as well as encourage more scientific career choices among females in general and African women in particular.
