The focus of this mapping study is to understand the state of pluralism in Indonesia. The study takes the form of a literature review, including writings published in mass media, journals, books and otherrelevant (judicial) documents. Its time frame, the past ten years, is intended to capture the developments in Indonesia in the period of Reformasi, the reforms after the forced resignation of
President Suharto in May 1998.
