Abstract: Antiretroviral therapy (ART) helps people living with AIDS to live longer, but adherence to ART can be difficult. The authors of this review conclude that there is high-quality evidence that mobile phone text-messaging at weekly intervals is efficacious in enhancing adherence to ART.
