Abstract:
Since 2012, when the unmet surgical need in Sierra Leone was 92% (5), the volume of surgeries per 100,000 population remained similar despite an increase in surgical workforce. Surgical productivity has decreased. This study aimed to explore influencings factors according to surgical providers to understand this decrease and identify opportunities for improvement.
