Abstract:
Zambia is among the countries in sub-Saharan Africa facing challenges of teenage pregnancy (TP). With prevalence at 29%, it compounds the public health problems among adolescents. TP brings radical changes to the life and future aspirations of girls. Recognising the challenges adolescents faced, Zambia adopted adolescent-friendly health services (ADFHS) and comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) among others to improve adolescents’ access to health and education services. However, meeting their needs remains a challenge.
