Abstract:
Agriculture is an important sector for Bangladesh not only for contributing to food production but also for engaging a large number of jobs. Farmers of Bangladesh largely depend on different kind of pesticides to protect their crops from insects and disease. Regardless of the benefits of pesticides, they can have toxic impacts on human health and on the environment. This study examines the different outcomes of pesticides on public health and the environment in order to give recommendations to reduce the harmful effects.
