Abstract:
Psychoactive substances use among adolescents in Uganda is alarming. Although psychoactive substances are broad in category and type, the study focused on alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana which are the three commonly used by the adolescents in Uganda. The objective was to examine the influencing factors of the above psychoactive substance use, public health, and social consequences among adolescents in Uganda and to recommend appropriate prevention strategies.
