Abstract:
Under- five mortality rate remains high in Nigeria at 113.8 per 1000 live births. About 25% of these deaths could be avoided with interventions such as immunisation yet in Nigeria, only 31% of children aged 12-23 months are fully immunised. This study aimed to identify factors influencing the uptake of immunization services in Nigeria in order to proffer recommendations to improve immunization uptake in Nigeria, using Sokoto and Anambra as focal states.
