Abstract:
The lethal combination between Diabetes Mellitus (DM) and tuberculosis (TB) in epidemiology and outcome necessitates bi-directional screening. The lack of simplified screening tools is one of the reasons for the limited screening of DM among TB patients. The current study aimed to assess the performance of risk scoring tools combined with clinical symptoms in predicting TB patients at higher risk of DM.
