His main titles are “Discurso a la Nacion
Mexicana” Speech to the Mexican nation, (1922); Doctrinas e ideas” Doctrines
and ideas; (1924), La filosofia de Husserl” Husserl’s philosophy, (1934);
and “El peligro del hombre” Man’s danger, (1942). His thought exerted a
remarkable influence upon the Mexican way of thinking during his time. He
was part of the “Ateneo de la Juventud” next to José Vasconcelos, Alfonso
Reyes and other philosophers who supported without reservation the rise of
the 1910 revolution.
