First Call Winner Announcement

In response to the Joint ASRT-BA Research Grants Program First Call, 633 proposals were submitted from (17) different Countries (Egypt: 600, Cameron: 1, Ethiopia: 3, Ghana: 2, Iraq: 1, Kenya: 1, Libya: 2, Madagascar: 1, Morocco: 1, Nigeria: 7, Niger: 2, Rwanda: 1, South Africa: 3, Sudan: 4, Tanzania: 2, Tunisia: 1, Uganda: 1)

Joint ASRT-BA Research Grants Program has several phases after closing the applications that include:

•   Data Check Process where only complete applications go through the reviewing process

•   Blind Reviewing Process “Proposals’ Evaluation” by International/National reviewers

•   Top Listed Interviews: according to the reviewer’s evaluation, the Joint ASRT-BA RGs committee selects the top listed applicants to be personally interviewed.

•   Winners Announcement: at the end, the Joint ASRT-BA RGs scientific committee selects the winners who sign their contracts and receive the grant.
