Abstract:
Sex-selective abortion (SSA) is an existing public health issue in most of the Asian countries and emerging public health concern in Nepal. Increased SSA leads to an accelerated sex-ratio (SR) imbalance. This thesis aims to analyze factors influencing SSA in Nepal and explores the best possible practices in order to provide recommendations to MOH and policymakers.
