Abstract:
Colombia shows increasing rates of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in humans and animals threatening the capacity of the health system along with economic, social and environmental impact. I aimed to explore the determinants that influence the AMR in Colombia using the One Health approach, explore the policies regarding AMR and the infection prevention and surveillance programmes and formulate recommendations to tackle the AMR threat.
