Abstract:
Tuberculosis poses a major public health threat in Ghana. Of the total estimated incident cases (44,000) the country was able to notify only 29%. Ghana is implementing the Facility-based Intensified TB Case Finding (ICF) aimed at improving case detection. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the ICF intervention in its performance on TB case detection in Ghana and proffer recommendations to improve the implementation of current and future interventions
