More than 220 young Egyptian postdoctoral researchers in the fields of Agricultural Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry and Biophysics, Chemistry, Engineering Sciences and Technologies, Earth Sciences, Information Technology, Mathematics, Medical Sciences and Physics& Astronomy have applied for the BA Research Grants offered annually to young Egyptian postdoctoral researchers by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
The BA has initiated this yearly program as a step towards scientific and research progress, in order to offer young Egyptian postdoctoral researchers the chance to transform their theories into reality. The grants are totally financed by the BA.
On Thursday, 20 September, during a ceremony attended by Dr. Mohamed El-Faham, Director of the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP); Dr. Yehia Halim Zaki, Head of the Academic and Cultural Sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA); and Dr. Magdy Madkour, BA Consultant, the 6 final winners signed the contracts.
