Biography:

Dr. Dina El-Khishin is currently the Deputy Director of AGERI for Research and Extension, and Head of the Genomics, Proteomics and Bioinformatics Core Facility at the Agricultural Genetic Engineering Research Institute (AGERI), Agricultural Research Center (ARC), Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Egypt.

She also served as head of the Nucleic acid and protein chemistry department, and as a Senior Research Scientist at the Molecular Genetics and Genome Mapping Lab.

Dr. Dina holds a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Genetics from Egypt.

She established the first Genomics, Proteomics and Bioinformatics Research Facility in the Middle East, Africa and Egypt.

She is actively involved in several research projects in the fields of Biodiversity, Bioinformatics and Genomics.

Abstract:
