Philipp Schepelmann
Biography:
Philipp Schepelmann is project co-ordinator in the Research Group for Material Flows and Resource Management at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment, Energy.
He holds a PhD in environmental planning (Dr.-Ing.).
He has worked as analyst and policy advisor for several EU Member States, the European Commission, the European Parliament and the European Environment Agency.
He has been involved in a different EU Framework projects about the monitoring of physical impacts of human development.
His fields of expertise are quantitative information systems for sustainability assessments, EU regional development and sustainability policies.
Philipp Schepelmann has been visiting lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Trier, the Asian Pacific University, Oita, Japan; the University of Kassel and the Jean Monnet European Centre of Excellence at the University of Wuppertal.
