Sean O'Connor
Biography:
Sean O'Connor is responsible for the information technology behind OconEco's innovative approach to sustainability metrics. In addition to managing a range of quantitative benchmarks for businesses by industry and community-level indicators, Sean has developed cutting-edge systems that relate word-oriented documents to sustainability concepts and produce "weight of discussion" indicators that qualify or extend quantitative indicators.
While working at the International Monetary Fund (1991-1996) Bureau of Computing Services, Sean was involved in translation work-flow automation, news aggregation & redistribution, and desktop information management processes.
As an independent consultant, Sean has worked in online community development, including projects with Lifetime TV and AOL, and created a corporate information system for private school.
He holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Virginia.
