Biography:
B. Sc. From Botany, Dept, College of Science, Tanta University.
Master from Botany Dept, College of Science, Alexandria University.
Ph. D from Tanta University in Collaboration with Windsor University, Windsor, Canada.
Works as Associate Professor in the UAE University for the last 12 years.
Published 34 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 6 articles as book chapters in addition to twenty papers have in international proceedings.
Has secured funds for 12 research projects which aimed at studying various biological and environmental problems related to the UAE; three of them were externally funded and the rest were funded by the Scientific Research Council, UAE University.
Supervised 2 PhD and 6 master students
Provides consultancy for several environmental and scientific institutes in the UAE, for example: Sharjah Academy of Science, Environmental Agency-Abu Dhabi, Federal Environmental Agency and International Centre for Biosaline Agriculture.
Member in several local and international institutes.
Reviewer in the scientific committee of King Saud University and the editorial board of "The Open Ecology Journal", Bentham Open Publisher.
Reviewed articles for several international journals, including: Ecoscience, Biodiversity and Conservation, Sexual Plant Reproduction, Plant Biosystems, International Journal of Scientific Research, South African Journal of Botany, Botanical Studies, Flora, Ecological Research, Pharmaceutical Biology.
