Biography:
Ahmed Rostom received his BSc in Veterinary Science from Cairo University in 1997. After graduation, he worked in Sales and Marketing with American and Danish pharmaceutical companies, thus, gained experience in one of the most competitive markets. He later joined the world's largest equine welfare organization; "The Brooke". There, he created and managed teams that worked in Egypt's underdeveloped and rural communities. His teams also executed tasks in the area of international communication building training programs for field researchers, and initiating the first HR model with KPMG, among many other activities. During that time, he also carried out projects and training courses in Egypt, India, Kenya and the UK. Since 2009, Rostom has been an Account Development Manager in the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, Iran and Central Asia; and he has been training customers all across the region to ensure better usage and knowledge of the functionalities of Elsevier products. He is also marketing the new concepts and tools produced by Elsevier. For his achievements, Ahmed Rostom received an award from "The Brooke" during its 70th anniversary, along with another award from the Society of Risk Assessment during its 2008 annual meeting in Boston, USA.
