Biography:
Ahmed A. Ramadan received his B.E. and M. Sc. degrees from Electrical Engineering department in Computer Engineering and Automatic Control, Tanta University, Tanta, Egypt, in 1996 and 2002, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree from Systems Innovation Department, Graduate School of Engineering Science, Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, in 2009. His thesis titled was "Architecture of Hybrid Two-Fingered Micro Hand: Analysis, Optimization, and Design".
He was a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Computer Engineering and Automatic Control, Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University, Tanta, Egypt from 1998 to 2005. He is an Assistant Professor in the same department from May 2009. He is currently an Assistant Professor in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering department, Egypt-Japan University and science and technology (EJUST). His major research interests are in the fields of Robotics Engineering, Automatic Control, and Artificial Intelligence Techniques. His current research focuses on robotics control, hybrid structure manipulators, design optimization, and micro-manipulation and assembly. Dr. Ramadan is a member of Robotics Society of Japan (RSJ) and of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
