Biography:

He is a Professor and Director of Power Systems Group at the Department of Electrical and Computer Control Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria.
He received his BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alexandria, and his MSc and DSs in Electrical Engineering from the George Washington University, Washington DC, USA. He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). El-Faham is author/co-author of a number of publications.
As Director of the CSSP, he organizes, each year, a number of major conferences in the fields of science, technology and education.
