Biography:

• Omneya Mostafa Kamal SABRY holds the position in the capacity of Vice Chairman, Studies and Technical Affairs at New Renewable Energy Authority (NERA) since 2013 till present.
• She was Undersecretary of State for Planning & International Cooperation, at Ministry of Electricity and Energy (2008-2013); and member of Board of NREA (2008-2012). Also, she was General Manager of Testing & Certification Department, New & Renewable Energy Authority (NREA), 2001-2007, Computer Network Manager at IT Department (1986-2001).
• She is a member of the Energy Researches Council - Renewable Energy Division (Academy of Science & Technology), Society of Electrical Engineers, Egyptian Society of Engineers, and Syndicate of Engineers, Management Engineering Society (MES).
• Dr. Omneya received many awards namely, Award of Excellence for the year 2004, awarded by Minister of Electricity and Energy; and the Best Brochure about IT Department , awarded from The Cabinet of Information Decision Support Center (IDSC) ,1998, and Best Research in the field of IT "Towards Strategic Information Systems in NREA" from Management Engineering Society (MES), 2003.
