Biography:
Ms. Yousra Sobeih is Head of Scientific Activities Section at Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) of the Academic Research Sector of the Library of Alexandria, where she is involved in a number of international projects that deal with enhancing education quality and building networks of scientists and researchers in the field of life sciences. Among those projects: National Academies MENA Project; Educational Institute for Responsible Research on Infectious Diseases: Ensuring Safe Science in the 21st Century, where she served as a committee member, instructor and facilitator, Education for Sustainable Development beyond the Campus (TEMPUS), Science Supercourse Project with WHO Collaborating Center, Pittsburgh University, USA, and others. Moreover, she was engaged in various international and national activities and projects in the field of Social Development and Youth mainly within the framework of EuroMed Youth Programme. For over a year, before joining CSSP, Ms. Sobeih worked in the business sector as an Export Coordinator in an Importing and Exporting company in Egypt.
Ms. Sobeih studied Anthropology, and holds a Bachelor?s degree in Arts, Department of Anthropology from Alexandria University, Egypt (2006). She is currently pursuing her Master?s degree, specialization, Physical anthropology.
