Biography:

Aya Diab is currently an Assistant Professor at the Mechanical Power Engineering Department, Ain Shams University. Diab obtained her Masters and PhD degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is interested in alternative energy and associated technology including nuclear, wind and solar. Her research work focuses on thermal hydraulics and nuclear safety under extreme postulated accident conditions. Currently she?s extending her research work to involve investigation and development of innovative small-scale wind turbine designs for residential applications.
