Biography:

Mona Saif received her BSc, MSc. and PhD degrees from Ain Shams University, Cairo. She has been Lecturer of Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, since 2006. She has supervised 5 research students that led to MSc. and PhD degrees being awarded in inorganic chemistry, material (nano) sciences, applied photochem, and environmental photochem; including photocatalysis, chemical solar cells and solar chemistry. She has participated in several international conferences and training workshops on environmental photochemistry since 2001. Her research interest include solar energy and photovoltaics (Dye-sensitized and polymer solar cells); wastewater treatment and analysis; down-up-converting nano-materials; quantum dot; and inorganic complexes and their biological applications.
