Ms. Heba Wanis is a Researcher at the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights (EIPR), where she is responsible for the medicines dossier in the Right to Health programme. She has an interest in public health, development and intellectual property issues, and has previously worked on access to medicines research and policy analysis in several organisations, including the UNDP HIV/AIDS Regional Programme in the Arab States, South Centre and Third World Network. Ms. Wanis holds a MSc in Public Health Research from the University of Edinburgh, UK and a BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Ain Shams University, Egypt.
