The CSSP hosted the "Micro and Nanofabrication Systems" workshop that took place at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
The workshop was supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation and funded by Cornell University.
This workshop aimed at senior undergraduates, graduate students, and young researchers (35 years or under) studying chemistry and other related fields.
Participants and dedicated scientists at the outset of their careers had the opportunity to study alongside their counterparts from other countries in the region, while gaining mastery of cutting-edge topics in contemporary chemistry.
This intensive workshop was considered the third activity of the Chemistry Bonds and was organized specifically for young scientists from the Middle East studying chemistry by which all instructors of the sessions were leading chemists in their respective fields.
The workshop was attended by 15 young scientists from all over the Middle East
