The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), in cooperation with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, is organizing part II of the intensive course "Proposal Writing for International Research Projects".
This course is part of the DIES (Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies) series of the DAAD and the German Rectors Conference (HRK), which will take place at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Egypt from the 27th of May to the 1st of June 2008.
The course is organized by Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst ( DAAD ), Bibliotheca Alexandrina / CSSP, Freie Universitt Berlin
in cooperation with the Universities of Kassel and Potsdam and Ministry of Higher Education & State for Scientific Research
Last year part I aimed at training scholars interested in international research cooperation on proposal writing.
After part I, participants or teams of participants were required to write a concrete research proposal including a funding concept and work plan at their home university.
The fine tuning of the research proposals took place during part II.
