Education will always be recognized as a key component in the prevention and management strategies of diabetes. Acknowledging the importance of diabetes education, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in collaboration with the International Diabetes Federation will be holding The 9th International Touring Education Workshop on Training Diabetes Educators to acquire Expertise in Basic Principles of Educational Technology.
This two-day workshop is designed to empower health care professionals and trainers with the various teaching skills necessary to educate and motivate diabetic patients to improve their lifestyle and make informed choices about their diabetes.
This follows a series of very successful workshops that were conducted in Egypt, Syria, Qatar, Kuwait, Yemen, Jordan, Libya, and Sudan during the past two years.
