The Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP), in cooperation with the Arab Society of Materials Science, organized a symposium titled "Scientific Innovation in Egypt" as part of their vision to promote innovative science and technological research.

The event was held under the auspices of the Egyptian Academy for Scientific Research and Technology, Alexandria University, and Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

Speakers from leading scientific institutions who have been awarded with the Order of the Nile or the State Recognition Award discussed their scientific contributions to the society and scientific community in Egypt. Young scientists and research students presented some of their ambitious research work.
