Sketch Your Future -2 conference
Alexandria--The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) featured the inauguration of the
Sketch Your Future -2 conference organized annually by the Youth for Environmental Sustainability and Better Understanding (YESBU).
The conference, held for the second time, takes place annually during the time between the appearance of the "Secondary Certificate" results and the University Entry presentment procedures.
The opening session featured a presentation by Dr. Mohamed El-Faham, Director of the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) entitled "Words from 41 Years Ago" and a word by Mrs. Layla Abdel-Hadi, Special Advisor, Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
The Opening Session was followed by a round-table discussion with Dr. Mohamed El-Faham, Mrs. Layla Abdel-Hadi, Mr. Ahmed Refaat, Teacher at Saint Marc School and Yasmin Maamoun, Research Specialist at the CSSP.
The round-table discussion displayed video- recordings of several college students sharing their experience and opinions at the university as well as displaying and demonstrating the various differences between school and the university systems.
The conference brought together over 150 school and university students as well as representatives from different faculties who aimed at giving a good idea regarding their respective facilities, aiming to give school students a good idea of what they will study in the college of their choice.
