Alexandria-- In a special celebration, the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) announced the top-listed candidates of the BA/CSSP Research Grants 2006/2007 program.

The day inaugurated with a presentation by Dr. Mohamed El-Faham, Director of the CSSP, followed by presentations by Research Grants winners for the years 2004/2005 and 2005/2006.

The day was then followed by a presentation by Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) entitled At the Frontiers of Science

By the end of the day, twenty five candidates were announced as the top-listed candidates of the BA/CSSP Research Grants 2006/2007 program, who have earlier presented their research papers and reviewed by expert reviewers.

The Research Grants Day takes place annually associated with the new Research Grants 2007/2008 program.
