Workshop for Preparatory stage students

Bibliotheca Alexandrina, 18–19 March 2013

 

Within the framework of Education for Sustainable Development Beyond the Campus (EduCamp) TEMPUS Project, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP), in collaboration with Wadi Environmental Science Centre (WESC) and Alexandria University are organizing a two-day workshop Explore the World of Education for Sustainable Development, at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina  Conference Center, 18-19 March 2013.

 

The two-day workshop will introduce Sustainable Development concepts to 50 school students (preparatory stage) from different Egyptian schools, using smart newly-developed kits in the fields of Agriculture, Biodiversity, Energy and Water.

 

The workshop will include a series of interactive lectures and hands-on activities that will help students experience new ways of learning science. The workshop will include visits to Bibliotheca Alexandrina science facilities, mainly the ALEXploratorium.
The ALEXploratorium is a fascinating and innovative establishment, it is a hands-on science facility that is unconventional, both in concept and operation.

 

During the workshop, the students will have fun learning Sustainable Development principles in a simple interactive and entertaining manner.

ورشة عمل بعنوان:

اكتشف عالم التعليم من أجل التنمية المستدامة

ورشة عمل لطلاب المرحلة الاعدادية

مكتبة الإسكندرية، 18 – 19 مارس 2013

 

 

            في إطار مشروع التعليم من أجل التنمية المستدامة خارج الجامعة (TEMPUS EduCamp)، وبالتعاون مع مركز وادي للعلوم البيئية (WESC) وجامعة الإسكندرية، ينظم مركز الدراسات والبرامج الخاصة (CSSP) بمكتبة الإسكندرية ورشة عمل بعنوان " اكتشف عالم التعليم من أجل التنمية المستدامة" في مكتبة الإسكندرية يومي 18 و19 مارس 2013.

 

            خلال يومي ورشة العمل سيتعرف 50 طالبًا في المرحلة الإعدادية من مدارس مصرية مختلفة على المبادئ العامة للتنمية المستدامة باستخدام أدوات تعليمية تفاعلية حديثة في مجالات المياه، والطاقة، والزراعة، والتنوع الحيوي.

 

            تتضمن ورشة العمل مجموعة من المحاضرات التفاعلية والأنشطة التي ستساعد الطلاب على تجربة أساليب جديدة لدراسة العلوم. كما تتضمن ورشة العمل زيارة للمرافق والأماكن العلمية المختلفة بمكتبة الإسكندرية لاسيما متحف الاستكشاف العلمي (ALEXploratorium) الذي يعد مرفقًا علميًّا غير تقليدي من ناحيتي المبدأ والتشغيل.

 

خلال ورشة العمل سيستمتع الطلاب بتعلم مفاهيم التنمية المستدامة بأسلوب بسيط وتفاعلي.
