This is a two-part course. The first part is theoretical and focuses on understanding the causes of conflict and the theory, concepts, and techniques of contemporary conflict resolution. It will also explore the role of culture in creating and resolving conflicts. Focusing mainly on inter-personal relations and community conflicts, the second part of the course, which is basically practical instruction, will train students to design conflict resolution training materials.
